Call Your Power Back: Be Authentic to Yourself

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder therapist

Did you ever recognize your powers? Unlike magical powers, every individual is gifted with powers—the power of self-belief, self-esteem, self-love, and so on.

But, as life goes on, we get stuck with anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, and related issues.

Due to a speedy lifestyle, running behind money, and getting unconditional love, we lose ourselves somewhere.

We feel disheartened due to the non-fulfillment of our desires. The disappointment surrounds us and drives us towards anxiety, stress, and many other illnesses.

The dark clouds of pain and sadness start reducing our power. Our energy starts draining slowly and steadily.

Sometimes, we suppress our emotions due to societal pressure or lack of courage and can’t take a stand for ourselves. The suppressed emotions develop rage within us and attract millions of diseases toward us.

Our power suddenly starts diminishing, and we are left with nothing except emptiness, void, frustration, depression, sadness, anxiety, stress, and other related issues.

It’s You and Only You: Pull Your Power Back

Consciously or subconsciously, we lose our power and start smashing to bits with time. Fear of abandonment and losing ourselves with our childhood traumas start holding us and never letting us go until we build that courage.

Our negative thoughts hold us back and hamper our growth. The terrible scars of our inner wounds start shining again and pull our physical and intellectual power away.

We start attracting people who don’t serve us anything except pain, disappointment, deception, abuse, exploitation, manipulation, etc.

Did you understand whom we attract? Any hunches?

Yes, Narcissists.

A narcissistic personality disorder, or NPD, is a mental condition in which individuals have a high sense of importance. Narcissists seek too much attention and want everyone to admire them. People with NPD may lack the ability to understand or care about other’s feelings. (

And now, it’s the bitterest part of the picture.

A relationship with a narcissist is the worst one. They have tactics of controlling your emotions by breadcrumbing and providing a small amount of love and affection or validation, just enough to get the victim hooked and emotionally dependent on them. You learn to survive in the relationship with just a few crumbs, the lack of power; we sometimes get indulged unknowingly; in this duality of personality, victims often get confused.

Our pain and sadness don’t let us make the difference between positive and negative traits of unviable emotion and empathy, and we get stuck in a painful, narcissistic relationship. Emotional abandonment, manipulation, exploitation tactics, and arrogance are some signs that can be experienced if you are in a narcissistic relationship.

Narcissists are people who always look for attention and validation. The narcissists lack boundaries and empathy; blaming others is their passion, and they lack emotions; basically, they are selfish.

A narcissistic relationship pulls your power back, but it’s you that can call your power back.

It’s time to stand up for yourself and say yes, “I am worthy of doing good for myself,” and “I am capable of fighting against abuse.”

Many spiritual rituals can help us avoid those who suck our internal powers or energy.

Full Moon Meditation

The moon is an essential part of our life, and most of us consider moon movements auspicious for any occasion, festival, or celebration.

Moon is also related to spiritual practices. The full moon plays a significant role spiritually, and Buddhists believe that the full moon is the time of spiritual reflection.

So, the full moon meditation is vital to experience divine powers within us and rejuvenate our mind, body, and soul.

Practicing meditation on the full moon cleanses us from within and gives our power back to us. Moon is said to affect the water positively, and as our body is made up of approx. 70% of water, it always benefits us.

New Moon Meditation

Calling our power back through the new moon meditation is a wise idea. It’s better to connect with an anxiety therapist in Dubai and have a guided New Moon meditation session.

New moon meditation lets us release all our emotions, negative thoughts, and energies. Unlocking all the boundaries that hold you back through new moon meditation will give us immense healing and let us go of all the pain we’ve experienced in a narcissistic relationship; hence, we start with gaining our power back.

Self-Care is Most Important

When we stop seeking validation from others and making ourselves essential to us, we will start gaining our powers back.

Seeking others for unconditional love pulls away your energy. So, let’s stop this now. Look into ourselves at a deeper level and feel connected with ourselves.

Don’t ever think that loving yourself is selfish or self-obsessed behavior. You, and only you, can get your power back with courage and self-confidence.

Affirmation to call your power back on Full Moon and New Moon is vital to uplift your journey.

Write on paper with a red pen and meditate once done; burn the paper (be safe with your house) in an open space or on the balcony.
